| Founded in 1741 on the site occupied by our present sawmill operation, Cowls Lumber is a family business specializing in producing the finest quality post and beam timbers for the timber framing industry. We add value and profit to your project by offering grade stamped timbers, if required, or true dimensioned timbers exactly to your specs. Long lengths are a specialty. We cut mostly red oak and hemlock in lengths up to 32 feet and ship anywhere in the northeast US. We also mill a variety of shiplap and tongue in groove siding. |
