1970 Hylton split-level house

Poor renovation and damage by renters left this house in desperate need of attention. The kitchen was too small for today's needs and the original cabinets were in bad shape. One bathroom had been badly renovated, while the others were missing some original parts. Carpeting covered all of the floors except for the kitchen and the entry stairs had been badly re-worked with new treads. All of the door were damaged, while the windows had been replaced, except for the front bow window.
I removed the kitchen-dining wall, except for a short, shortened section abutting the kitchen baseboard radiator. I used the original elements from two bathrooms for the design of all three and chose light fixtures with designs matching originals exactly, or similar to those of the 1960's and 1970's.
