Farmhouse Windows Recreated

A late 1800's farmhouse was relocated, and a new addition connected to the original structure by a new "dining hall." Reproduction millwork was needed to make the addition match the orginal building. The owners were committed to using authentic construction methods and period correct details.

All new wood double hung windows were constructed using Spanish cedar and insulated low E glass as well as all exterior and interior doors. We provided exterior door jambs and transoms already assembled and doors pre-hinged with exterior trim attached. Interior doors were delivered already hinged in jambs, along with supplying all new interior door and window casings.

We built custom 1-1/8" wood window screens with bronze wire for all the windows and carefully created exterior wood rolling slat shutters based on existing examples from the original farmhouse.
