Scaffolding contractors can furnish access to buildings and other structures through scaffolds and rigging installed or for sale or rent. Scaffolds may be builtup, suspended, fixed or moveable, by hand or mechanically. The scaffold used will be determined by the requirements of the trades that use it and the operations performed. Certain circumstances may call for the contractor to furnish a custom scaffolding solution. Hoists, towers and other types of rigging are generally furnished by the scaffolding contractor as well.
