Great Neck Cornice

Cornice had been water damaged. Repair was attempted three times by other workers to the dissatisfaction of the homeowner. I removed the repair work and damaged material. The cornice was re-run in place. Upper portions were sound and were saved. The discolored division line represents the start of the old work above.
To be precise, the entire ornamental section is a Classical entablature. The cymatium, corona, drip, and throat were sound. The ogee was largely intact. Everything below (architrave, frieze) was new.
As much as could be saved was saved to minimize expenses.
